2009 CSR Report released by Fosun Pharma
Fosun Pharma has announced 2009 CSR (Corporation Social Responsibility) Report on Mar 25th, at the same time of the company’s Annual Report release. The report presents the actions in the aspects of corporation strategy development, economic responsibility, environmental protection, quality and safety, employee development and public welfare.
The 2009 CSR Report has elaborated Fosun Pharma’s strategies and actions of corporation social responsibility in the coming five years, on the basis of its 2008 Report. At the same time, Fosun Pharma has invited DNV (Det Norske Veritas), an international independent organization, to implement social responsibility assessment for the first time. The report, for the first time, will be printed with an English abstract in the publish version.
This report is to show the development and practice of social responsibilities of Fosun Pharma in 2009 and disclose the company’s operation to the interest-related parties, in order to help the shareholders, partners and employees to know our activities in CSR. The report follows Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, which fully reflects the development of the company on economy, environmental protection and society.

Being the first to release CSR Report in Chinese Pharmaceutical industry last year and won the prize of “Best CSR Report in Pharmaceutical and Biological Products Industry in 2009”, Fosun Pharma has made all efforts to continually promote this work. Fosun Pharma has established leading group and working group of CSR Report in 2009 to work on the report as well as the further development of CSR system and strategy, such as improve the communication mechanism of interest-related parties, strengthen the system of environment, health and safety（EHS）.
